Dripothecary began in the Bay Area with two friends brought together by a shared love of coffee, design and creative expression. Shaped by more than a decade of experience across café operations, sourcing and roasting. Supported by years of training, study and hands-on practice.

Every coffee batch is carefully selected, then developed through a customized roast profile designed to elevate its natural qualities rather than conceal them. Roasted in small batches in Berkeley, each release is approached with precision, patience and respect for the individuality of the bean.

Dripothecary was created to explore the space between coffee, fashion, art and design. We believe coffee can be prepared however you like and enjoyed wherever you choose. It can be expressive, personal and entirely your own. More than a daily necessity, it can become part of how you live, create and define your individual style.

Our approach is deliberate, but never prescriptive.

We do not believe good coffee should conform to a single ritual or expectation. Like people, every coffee has an individuality worth preserving.
